The Scoop

On Sunday, July 23rd, Jeff and I announced my pregnancy to our Sunday night Bible Study group. This marked the beginning of my 12th week of pregnancy. It was so hard for me to keep the news a secret from my friends! Two and a half years ago, when we started attending this group Bible Study, one woman in the group was pregnant; now, our group will be welcoming baby number eight with the arrival of Baby BRJ (who Jay C has nicknamed "French Fry," as our last name is of French origin).

Jeff and I celebrated our second anniversary on Saturday, July 22nd (two days before our actual anniversary) by going downtown to the Sundial restaurant. What a special night! For those of you who don't know, the Sundial is situated at the top of a cylindrical hotel on the 72nd floor. The restaurant rotates 360 degrees every hour, so diners are able to get a bird's eye view of Atlanta (and beyond) from every possible angle. We were fortunate enough to watch the sunset over Atlanta as we ate dessert. Thanks, Jeff, for the great evening!
