One Month and Counting

Alana passed her first month check-up with flying colors! Here are the stats from Alana's appointment:

Length-22 inches, 75-90% (takes after her daddy on this one)
Weight-9 pounds, 12.5 ounces, 50%
Head Circumference-15 inches, 75% (she must have a lot of brains in there...lol)

Alana can lift up her head for short periods of time while on her tummy (and even longer periods of time while on my shoulder) and can turn it both directions.
She can track objects horizontally and vertically (though a little choppy).
She studies faces and, from time to time, tries to copy certain expressions (raised eyebrows; moving the tongue up and down "la, la, la" without the sound, of course; and the makings of a great smile).
Alana makes many noises like cooing, clicking, popping, grunting, and "ah."
She likes her feet and belly to be rubbed.
She plants her feet into the changing table with legs bent and can lift her bottom and back.
She can roll from her belly to her left side by pushing over w/ her right arm, then from her side to her back.
She sometimes tries to hold her pacifier in her mouth, and is beginning to realize her fingers can be sucked on, as well.
Alana loves to look at Mommy and Daddy when they make funny faces, and her eyes light up when they make silly noises, whistle, or sing.
