It's official- Alana is a big girl now. Last month, Alana started going to a Mother's Day Out program at our church. It's two days a week, three hours at a time. She wimpered for "Mommy" a few times the first week or so. After that, I think she realized that I would always return to pick her up after a few hours, so she began to relax and enjoy herself. Now she loves "school days" and talks about her friends and teachers all the time.

Here is Alana on her first day of school. She picked out her new Dora backpack and loves to pull it around like she's big stuff. :-)
