Six Months!

My sweet Alana is 6 months now. How time flies!





Alana is 18 pounds and 27 inches long. She sits upright to play for extended periods of time now, but I still have to stay within arms reach because she throws herself backwards in excitement over toys from time to time. She can pull herself into the crawl and pike positions and can spin around on her belly. Alana loves tags at the moment- moreso than the toys to which they are attached! She loves to watch people; she studies their faces and arm movements and tries to copy them. Alana turns the pages when I read to her. She loves to sit or stand (assisted, of course) by her table toy and push all the buttons. My sweet girl gives hugs and, occasionally, kisses- with a big open mouth. Juicy, but precious :-) She grabs noses, chins, and hair (hence the new do). Alana loves baths, the pool, riding in the bjorn, looking at books, and getting tickled by her daddy.
